Welcome to TAHSC Clinical Imaging
The TAHSC Clinical Imaging and Interventional Centre is a joint initiative by NHS Tayside and the University of Dundee to draw together clinical research imaging capability across Tayside. This allows improved coordination of existing resources and enhanced communication between researchers using imaging techniques across the region.
Research activity is focussed around the facilities based within the purpose-built CRC Building at Ninewells Hospital. A unique feature of this facility is the ability to use the equipment not only to image but also to treat patients using image guided interventions.
Application to use the imaging facilities are considered by the TAHSC-IC Users and Time Allocation Group. This group exists not only to ensure equitable use of the machines, but also to provide a forum to discuss technical or scientific aspects of projects.
Studies involving ionising radiation will be subject to ARSAC regulations and approval.
